      He was born in Gümüşhane in 1966. He completed his primary, secondary, high school and university education in Trabzon. Between 1990-1992, he worked as a prison physician in Sinop/Boyabat. Between 1992-1994, he worked as a physician at Trabzon PTT institution. Between 1994-2000, he worked as a urology assistant at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine. In 2000, he received his specialization certificate from the Department of Urology at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2000-2002, he worked at Vakfıkebir State Hospital and between 2002-2007 at Trabzon Training and Research Hospital as a urology specialist. Since 2007, he has been working as a urology specialist at Private Imperial Hospital. At the same time, since 2007, he has continuously served as the Vice Chairman of the Board and Responsible Manager of Private Imperial Hospital. He is married to Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Specialist Dr. H. Füsun SAĞLAM and is the father of two children.

• Between 2014-2022, he successfully served as the Vice President of Imperial Hospital İdmanocağı Sports Club and the Vice President of the Gümüşhaneliler Association.
  
• He is a member of UCD Eastern Black Sea Urology Association, Turkish Andrology Association and Trabzon TEDAK (Tennis Mountaineering Ski Sports Club).
