Fizzy drinks, excessive consumption of coffee and tea, creamy foods, Fats are not recommended because alcohol increases acid secretion and increases reflux.Drawing attention to the health risks of eating standing up, Dr. Baki said, “After eating, food stays in the stomach for an average of 4-6 hours. This causes the food to mix and break down in the stomach. With standing meals, the duration of food stays in the stomach is shortened, this situation shortens the duration of the part of digestion that should be in the stomach and causes digestive disorders (indigestion, bloating, etc.) to occur.Stating that chronic gastritis and reflux disease are the most common stomach diseases in the Eastern Black Sea Region, Dr. Baki, "Chronic gastritis, reflux disease, duodenal and gastric ulcer (due to the aging of the population and the use of more rheumatism drugs and osteoporosis drugs), functional dyspepsia (no obvious organic stomach disease-typical complaints) and less frequently gastric cancers are common in our region.
